Barbie Zabel | | Hello!
My name is Barbie Zabel and I'm the creator/moderator of this group. The internet can seem like such a lonely place, and possibly moreso in the network marketing or MLM arena where everyone is screaming for attention with hyped up claims, spam, pop ups, pop unders, and the like.
I created this group so that we can still advertise, but share ourselves with our product, making our presence here wanted, needed, and warm. I look forward to our growth as a group and as individuals and business owners! Much can be gleaned about our potential and future customers and clients by interacting with and learning about each other here.
Some of my personal story is written on my Ryze page for those who want to see what makes me tick. :-) Beyond that, I'm a once-divorced now-remarried mother of 2 grown children: Renee, age 24, attending Miami University in Ohio, studying to be a teacher, and Chris, 21, who is now serving in Iraq. He's supposed to be done with his Iraq mission in October unless President Busch extends his stay there... Chris' service to US Army Intelligence will be complete in August of 2007. Gosh, has it only been 3 years? It seems he's been gone forever...
Anyway, I'm also part-time guardian and stepmom to my husband Rob's two boys, Jesse, almost 15, and Shane, 11. We have a big family get together today that everyone's looking forward to (brownies are in the oven now!). So Rob's boys, my sister's kids, and my cousin's boy will be running, laughing, teasing, competing, and generally having a ball with each other before too long, while all of us adults catch up with each other and stuff our faces and bellies! LOL
Now, onto our favorite subject - MONEY! :-)
I am now involved with a prosperity program that requires no selling, explaining or convincing. There are no products or services to sell, no up or downlines, no matrices even. Every single person in the program is equal to everyone else. I like also that there is not an organized company who gleans the majority of the money while you get your small commission. It is a person to person, private activity comprised of volunteers who selflessly give of themselves. The people who are drawn to this activity are some of the nicest and warmest people I've ever encountered. It feels like home and family.
